SUMMARY
"Bear in mind that our Lord's patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. 16.He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.(2Peter3:15~16)" “우리 사랑하는 형제 바울도 그 받은 지혜대로 너희에게 이같이 썼고 또 그 모든 편지에도 이런 일에 관하여 말하였으되 그 중에 알기 어려운 것이 더러 있으니 무식한 자들과 굳세지 못한 자들이 다른 성경과 같이 그것도 억지로 풀다가 스스로 멸망에 이르느니라”(벧후 3:15-16)
In his epistle concerning the day of judgment and destruction(chapter 3 of 2 Peter), the apostle Peter makes it clear that all the epistles of the apostle Paul are related to the destruction of the world. In addition, interpreting his epistles without knowing Paul's intent means to distort Paul's purpose, resulting in destruction. 사도 베드로는 심판과 멸망의 날에 관하여 언급한 그의 편지(벧후3장)에서 사도 바울의 모든 편지들은 세상의 멸망과 관련되어 있다는 점을 분명히 한다. 또한 바울의 이런 취지를 모른 채 그의 편지를 해석하면 바울의 취지를 왜곡시키는 것이 되고 그 결과 멸망을 초래하게 된다는 의미이다.
There is no way out of a determined destruction anyway. This is not because of any particular sins, but because humans are defined as being ruined without exception in that all the epistles of the apostle Paul are related to the destruction of the world. This is not by the personal view of the apostle Paul, but by revelation from God. From this point of view, the letter from the Apostle Paul is intended to induce recipients to come before the judgment of God -"destruction"- which cannot be changed and has already been finished. 어쨌든 인간은 작정된 멸망에서 빠져나갈 수 있는 길이 없다. 이것은 무슨 특정한 잘못된 행위 때문이 아니라 사도의 모든 편지가 멸망과 관련되어 있다는 점에서 인간은 예외 없이 멸망당해야 할 존재로 규정되었기 때문이다. 이것은 사도 바울의 개인적인 견해가 아니라 하나님의 계시로 말미암은 것이다. 이런 관점에서 볼 때 사도는 그의 편지의 수신자들이 ‘멸망’이라는 변개될 수 없고 이미 완료된 하나님의 판결 앞으로 나오도록 유도한다.
The receiver of Philippians is all the saints or supervisors and deacons living in Philippi. Paul also urges this, assuming that the recipients of his letter take the destruction of the world for granted. Such are those who have come to know by the Holy Spirit that the world deserves to be destroyed and that it is a definite and immediate reality. For them, the lingering attachment for themselves and for what they have gained in the world are now gone. Fear and horror are gone from them as they give up their own or their own values they have wanted to keep so much. 빌립보서의 수신자는 빌립보에 사는 모든 성도 또는 감독들과 집사들이다. 바울은 그의 편지의 수신자들이 세상의 멸망을 당연한 것으로 받아들이는 자라는 것을 전제하고 또한 이것을 촉구한다. 그런 자들은 세상은 멸망 받아 마땅하며 그것은 확정적이고 당면한 현실이라는 것을 성령을 통해서 알게 된 자들이다. 그들에게는 자기 자신에 대한 미련도 그들이 세상에서 획득한 것들에 대한 일말의 미련도 사라지게 된다. 그들이 그토록 지키고자 했던 ‘자기 것’ 혹은 ‘자기 가치’가 포기가 되면서 그들에게서는 두려움과 공포도 같이 사라져버린다.
But on the one hand, the saint vividly experiences how easily he collapses under the power of the visible world. He finds himself to be absolutely helpless and incompetent before the power of the devil and to be Peter himself, who denied Jesus three times in order to survive. It is get found out that he is not a believer and that his faith is a fake. He is confirmed by the Holy Spirit that he is nothing but rubbish and stinking feces. 그러나 한편으로는 성도는 보이는 세상의 힘에 자신이 얼마나 쉽게 무너지는지를 생생하게 경험한다. 그는 자신은 악마의 힘 앞에서 절대적으로 무기력하고 무능한 자이며 자신이 살아남기 위해서 예수님을 세 번씩이나 부인한 베드로가 다름 아닌 바로 자기 자신임을 발견한다. 그는 믿는 자가 아니며 그의 믿음을 가짜라는 것이 들통 난다. 자신은 아무짝에도 쓸모없는 쓰레기이며 악취 나는 배설물이라는 것이 성령님에 의하여 기쁘게 확인된다.
The world has been given certain role by God. The world must demonstrate its reality to the full that there is nothing more scary than dying, and that human beings are the ones who take care of just their own bodies, and that the most desperate and important thing for them is their bodies. So God makes a disturbance in the world and makes it clear that man has lived in a world where there is no exit. 세상은 하나님에 의해서 어떤 역할을 부여받았다. 그것은 ‘죽는 것보다 더 무서운 것은 없다. 인간은 자기 몸만 챙기는 자들이며 그들에게 가장 절박하고 중요한 것은 자기 몸이다’라고 하는 세상의 실상을 맘껏 드러내야 하는 것이다. 그래서 하나님은 세상에 소동을 일으키시고 인간이 출구가 없는 세상에서 살아온 분명하게 드러내는 행위를 하게 하신다.
In the process, the Holy Spirit causes His people to know that the behavior of this cursed world, which is agitated and thrashing, is the reality of the saints themselves. The Holy Spirit also lets the saints know that they themselves are the ones who deserve to be destroyed, and that they are the ones who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death. Then they shut their mouths and become the feeling of Job sitting in the middle of the ash. And from them, a confession bursts out ; "Yes, Lord. I do not have a way out. I am not right with Heaven." This is because the Holy Spirit has put the cross right in him. 그 과정에서 성령님은 자기 백성으로 하여금 소동하며 요동하는 이 저주받은 세상의 행태가 성도 자신의 실상인 것을 알게 하신다. 또한 성령께서는 성도들 그들 자신이 멸망 받아 마땅한 자이며 죽기를 무서워함으로 일생에 매여 종노릇 하는 바로 그 자임을 알게 하신다. 그 때 그들은 자신의 입을 막고 재 가운데 앉은 욥의 심정이 되는 것이다. 그리고 그들에게서 ‘맞습니다, 주님. 저에게는 탈출구가 없습니다. 저는 천국과 맞지 않습니다.’라는 고백이 터져 나온다. 성령께서 그에게 십자가를 넣어버리셨기 때문이다.
For these men, God's judgment of the destruction of the world is finally seen as grace and peace. The apostle introduces these sources of grace and peace in his letter. And it tells us why the world deserves to be destroyed. the apostle Paul makes it clear to the saint that salvation is not for the saint himself, but for the cross of Jesus. Therefore, a saint is a person who is used as a material for the gospel. Such a person is the apostle Paul, and Timothy, and the Philippian Church. 이런 자들에게 비로소 세상의 멸망이라고 하는 하나님의 심판이 은혜와 평강으로 느껴진다. 사도는 그의 편지에서 이러한 은혜와 평강이 나오는 원천을 소개한다. 그리고 왜 세상은 멸망 받아 마땅한지를 알려준다. 주님은 성도에게 구원이란 예수님의 십자가를 증거 하기 위한 것이지 성도 자기 자신을 위한 것이 아님을 분명히 하신다. 따라서 성도란 복음을 위해서 복음의 재료로 쓰여지는 사람이다. 그러한 자가 바로 사도바울이며 디모데이며 빌립보교회이다. |
